Memory Home
explores the emotional architecture of home through memory, migration, and transformation. Growing up as a refugee, my understanding of home is not rooted in a fixed place, but in fleeting moments—temporary shelters, familiar gestures, and brief feelings of belonging.
Using porcelain, a material both fragile and resilient, I recreate these memories through chrysalis forms, suspended structures, and surface imagery. The chrysalis becomes a central symbol of transition—holding the tension between vulnerability and growth, containment and becoming.
